Right after 2nd hour, Zhanna asked if I could take her somewhere during 3rd hour. I told her that I would be happy to … even though this would be yet another day that I would ditch Brit. Lit. But I didn’t care.

A couple of days earlier, I had been talking with Buffy, and I told her that I really wanted to go to Boosters with Zhanna. She told me that she would find out what Zhanna would say if I asked her. During lunch, she told me that Zhanna said she would say no. I tried not to show it, but I was pissed.

3rd hour came. Zhanna found me and told me she was ready to go. I wasn’t really talking to her that much. From that, I guess she interpreted that I was mad at her, which I was! It looked to me like she had only seemed interested in me when she needed a ride or something else from me. I, for one, really didn’t appreciate being used.

She tried to walk away, and we argued for a few minutes. I did my best to lie my ass off by saying that I wasn’t mad at her. It’s not that I wanted to lie to her, but I didn’t want to make a scene either. She accepted, and I took her to Jessie’s house. In the car, she didn’t say a word, and I asked her why. She went off on this rant about how I didn’t think that Russian people had feelings, and how I was using her! I couldn’t believe it … Eventually we got to Jessie’s, and she left without saying a word.

Gorillas in Our Midst

The play, though incredibly chaotic, pretty much went off without a hitch. I think that everyone was surprised that we were able to pull it off. It was a nice escape from the earlier events of the day.

After the play, Chres and I decided to go to Jason Michaud’s place to chill for a while. When we got there, most everybody was there: Tom, Mikey, and Kevin. Juice and Dan weren’t, though. And it appeared that Jason wasn’t either. I asked Tom where he was. He said, “he’s in his room with the Russian girl.” I looked at Chres, and we left. On the way back to Chres’s house, I ranted about how pissed I was, and we had a great argument about whether feelings are good or bad. Because of how pissed I was, I ended up crashing at Chres’s … Perhaps things will be better tomorrow.
