The 2000 Colorado State Thespian Conference. I was really excited about it, and I was glad I was going. As I anticipated, it proved to be anything but boring.

Thursday

We got to Denver at about 6:30. The first show, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, was at 8. We checked into the Downtown Denver Holday Inn and got situated. I was rooming with Juice, Chres, and Dan B. After we got situated, we headed to the show. It was spectacular, probably one of the best shows I’ve ever seen. After the show and the other opening ceremonies, we went back to the hotel. Curfew was at midnight. I think we finally got to sleep at 2:30 or so. Let’s just say the conversations were interesting.

Friday

Believe it or not, we did actually go to workshops. Although I can’t remember the order in which they came.

In the lobby before dinner, Matt and I started talking about Sharon. Sensing this, she immediately came over to us to “break it up.” She told me that I’ve been ignoring her …
