The only thing that I had to look forward to today was the play. That got blown to shit really quick. Dan came to the show early and I talked to him for a while. He told me that Jason was happy with Zhanna, and I took it as well as I could. Once the show started and I saw Jason and Zhanna together, I started to get really pissed.

During the course of the show, I went in the back to talk to Megan. I told her what happened with Zhanna yesterday and last night, and she just held me and said, “I’m sorry.” I (only sortof jokingly) told her that she didn’t have to worry about the competition anymore. She said that this wasn’t the way she wanted to win … and she just held me for a while. It was really nice.

Although sufficiently calmed, I spent the rest of the night in a volatile state. After the show, Natalie had planned a surprise birthday party for Dan, which everyone was going to. In light of the events of the past two days, I opted not to go. Instead, Jake and I went to play pool … and being sympathetic to my cause, Megan came with us too, after making an appearance at the party.

I spent the remainder of the night being incredibly bitter about Zhanna, which I’m sure upset Megan, but I didn’t care at the time …

I guess when everything looks its darkest, you just have to throw up your hands and say ‘alright’. Because it’s probably gonna get a hell of a lot worse.
